Conference Fees
All those attending the LAC 2020+1, including organizers, speakers, panel presenters, and those chairing a session, must pay the Congress fee described below:

Virtual Presentation fee includes:
- A full online copy of the conference abstract book.
- Registration fee payment receipts (Invoices).
- An official participation certificate.
- A certificate of attendance
- Participation in plenary presentations and special sessions

We inform you that the personal data provided by you will be incorporated into a database for which the International Association of Landscape Archaeology (IALA) is responsible, used for administrative and promotional purposes and others related to the event. The organization of the Conference may carry out video recordings of communications and presentations with promotional purposes, where images of people, the public or interventions in particular sessions may appear. You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, and cancellation by writing to lac2020madrid@cchs.csic.es
By certifying that you have read these Submission rules, you also confirm having received the prior approval from the co-authors to provide their data to the International Association of Landscape Archaeology (IALA)
Publication of abstracts
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Abstract Book (online only). Abstracts not suitable for display will be rejected. Please have your abstract checked for correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and formal structure. The organiser reserves the right to edit abstracts if necessary, prior to the publication in the LAC2021 Conference Abstract Book.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations made before 17 April 2021 will be entitled to a 50% refund of the fee paid. After that date, there will be no refunds.
After 17 April 2021 until 7 May 2021, it will be possible to transfer the registration to another person provided that previous notice is given in writing to the organizers and given approval. In all cases, the person taking the place of the original registrant must apply for registration on the Conference website and accept the terms and conditions and the privacy policy.
Payment policy
Registration and full payment of fees will be compulsory for attending any of the conference events.
Payment deadline
Your registration will not be processed until payment is received in full. In addition, if you are a presenter of an accepted contribution, you will not be scheduled in the conference program if your payment is not received by 07 May 2020 (16 of April for early bird registration)
Conference language
The official language of the Conference is English. All presentations must be delivered in English.
Although the LAC2021 website takes all possible care to ensure the correctness of published information, no warranty can be accepted regarding the correctness, accuracy, outdatedness, reliability, and completeness of the content of this information.
LAC2021 expressly reserves the right to change, to delete or temporarily not to publish the contents wholly or partly at any time and without giving notice.
Liability claims against LAC2021 because of tangible or intangible damage arising from accessing, using, or not using the published information, through misuse of the connection or as a result of technical breakdowns are excluded.
